Ambu? Silicone Face Masks AMBU DANMARK
DESCRIPTION:
Silicone Face Masks
Features
Ambu Silicone Face Masks are self-inflating for an easy and tight seal. The cuff pressure may be regulated. The mask size 0 with boring impedes ventilation pressures higher than approx. 40 cm H2O, enabling ventilation with an Ambu Mark IV Resuscitator on small children with a body weight down to approx. 15 kg. (approx. 3 years).
The transparent dome of the Ambu Silicone Face Mask enables you to check the patient's condition, e.g. bleeding, vomit, spontaneous breathing and cyanosis. The transparent dome (sizes 6, 5, 4, 3,2 1,0) is made of unbreakable plastic (polysulphone).
The texture of the surface of the Ambu Silicone Face Mask ensures that the cuff does not slip, and makes it comfortable to hold during use. The dome has been designed to allow a soft rest for the thumb, thus creating an easier grip and ensuring a tight fit on the face (sizes 6, 5, 4 and 2).
Specifications
The Ambu Silicone Face Masks are made of latex free material. Mask dome and cuff are made of polysulphone and silicone, respectively.
The buttoned-on cuff enables easy removal for cleaning. The mask can be autoclaved repeatedly at 134?C.
The Ambu Silicone Mask is available in 6 sizes: sizes 6, 5, 4,3, 2,1,0, and 0 with boring.
Ambu? Mark IV – Reusable Resuscitator Adult & Peads AMBU DANMARK
DESCRIPTION:
- Double wall bag provides build in pressure limitation
- Unique single-shutter valve system
- 100% Latex free
The Ambu Mark IV is available in two sizes: The Ambu Mark IV Adult is designed for manual ventilation of adults and children with a body weight of down to approximately 15 kg (3 years), and the Ambu Mark IV Baby for infants and children with a body weight of up to about 20 kg (4-5 years).
Mark IV - Reusable Resuscitator
Features
The unique Ambu double wall concept clearly distinguishes the genuine Ambu bag from all other manual resuscitators. It provides the ?touch? Ambu bags are famous for. The thin outer cover gives the user a very good ?fingertip? feeling for how much pressure is needed, while the inner lining with its air holes allows rapid recoil for optimum stroke volume. This gives you complete control of the amount of pressure delivered to the patient and enables artificial respiration with quick frequencies, if needed.
Another unique effect of the Ambu double wall is that the elasticity of the outer cover limits airway pressure from exceeding approximately 7 kPa (70cm H20) during operation of the Ambu Mark IV Adult with one hand. The Ambu Mark IV Baby is fitted with a pressure-limiting valve that opens when pressure in the valve reaches approximately 4.0 kPa (40 cm H2O). If more pressure is required, it can be easily overridden by pressing the attached override cap.
The slim design and crystal clear casing housing the unique single-shutter valve allow unimpeded observation of the valve operation and make it easier to view and manage airflow to the patient.
Both sizes feature a swivel between the patient valve and the mask, as well as between the valve and bag, making it possible to change positions or switch hands without interrupting patient ventilation.
Both Mark IV Adult and Baby are made of silicone rubber and are 100 % latex-free.
The Ambu Mark IV Adult comes with an integrated handle making it easier to hold and enabling uniform compressions in all emergency situations, even in wet conditions - and for users with small hands.
The Ambu Mark IV Baby resuscitator has an ergonomic design for optimal palm fit. You can hold it comfortably for long periods of time without hand fatigue.
As a reusable resuscitator the Ambu Mar IV and Mark IV Baby including the oxygen reservoir can be autoclaved at a temperature of 134? Celsius.
